Welcome on the website of the Augustinian Historical Institute (Augustijns Historisch Instituut) in Belgium. Within our Institute we focus on St.-Augustine, his spirituality, his works and influence on the world history, etc. At the same time we try to make the acquired knowledge generally known as much as possible. Similar attention is also given to the history of the Order of Augustine (OSA).
